Yes. Abu Dhabi tenants may soon be able to pay their annual rent in monthly instalments through a new Rent Now, Pay Monthly (RNPM) digital platform developed by ADRES in partnership with Keyper. The platform, currently being piloted with three major landlords, is expected to begin onboarding tenants in the fourth quarter of 2026. Under the model, tenants can pay rent monthly by debit or credit card, while landlords continue receiving rent according to the tenancy agreement. A facilitation fee of 4.75% to 12% of the annual rent will apply based on eligibility and payment terms. Property experts say the initiative could make renting more affordable for young professionals and new residents by reducing large upfront payments, although questions remain about dispute resolution and whether higher fees could discourage adoption. Would you prefer paying rent monthly with a service fee, or continue using post-dated cheques to avoid extra costs?
