The Indian Association Sharjah (IAS), in partnership with the Consulate General of India (CGI), Dubai, will host a special two-day consular attestation service on July 4 and 5, 2026, from 9am to 4.30pm, helping Indian expatriates in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates process document attestations more conveniently. The initiative comes amid a legal dispute over the outsourcing of Indian consular services to Alhind Tours & Travels, which has temporarily disrupted the rollout of the new service provider. Applicants are required to bring original documents, necessary photocopies, a valid passport, Emirates ID, applicable fees, and supporting paperwork, while consular officials will be present on-site to process applications.
