Family Development Foundation Hosts Workshops to Empower Women Through Skill-Building Programs
The Family Development Foundation (FDF) has successfully organized a series of workshops under its "Building Women's Skills and Abilities" service, aimed at empowering women with essential skills and capabilities. This initiative is designed to provide women with equal opportunities for empowerment and training, enabling them to take on leadership roles within their families and society. The workshops also promote participation in sports, health, and academic fields, fostering well-rounded development.
Khawla Al Mehairi, Head of the Women Empowerment Department at FDF, emphasized the importance of these programs in supporting women's active involvement in social and economic life. “The ‘Building Women's Skills and Abilities’ service is part of the ‘Women and Family Social Empowerment Club’ and offers participants the opportunity to engage in initiatives like the ‘100 Days Sports Challenge’ and the ‘Excellence in Entrepreneurship’ workshop. These programs are specifically designed to enhance women's physical well-being and leadership skills, contributing to their overall empowerment,” Al Mehairi stated.
The ‘100 Days Sports Challenge’ encourages women to integrate sports into their daily routines, promoting a healthier lifestyle. Meanwhile, the ‘Excellence in Entrepreneurship’ workshop is aimed at helping women become successful business leaders, ensuring their financial independence and strengthening their roles in society. The workshop covered a range of topics, including "Excellence in Entrepreneurship," "Enriching Marital Life," "How to Choose Your Project," "Mastering Entrepreneurial Skills," "How to Start Your Project," "Strategies and Techniques for Project Management," "Family-Work Balance," "Creativity in Marketing is the Key to Success," "Evaluate Your Project," "Towards Development," and "The Journey to Positive Happiness."
Al Mehairi further highlighted that the ‘Women and Family Social Empowerment Club’ at FDF is dedicated to fostering positive behavior and helping families adapt to various life challenges, ultimately improving their quality of life. The club supports the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits tailored to the unique needs of its members, with a strong focus on empowering women and boosting their self-confidence.
