ENOC Group Partners with the University of Dubai to Advance UAE's Energy Sector through Knowledge Exchange

ENOC Group, a leading energy player in the UAE, has signed a significant agreement with the University of Dubai aimed at advancing the UAE’s energy talent and fostering knowledge exchange. This partnership is a step towards aligning with the UAE's National Strategy for Higher Education 2030, which emphasizes a knowledge-driven economy and the development of highly skilled human capital.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC Group, and His Excellency Eissa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, in the presence of officials from both organizations. This collaboration is designed to enhance technical and practical expertise among young professionals, addressing the energy sector's evolving demands.

“We are pleased to partner with the University of Dubai to facilitate knowledge exchange and skill-building opportunities for the UAE’s youth,” said His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi. “As a national company, ENOC is dedicated to nurturing local talent to support the UAE’s economy and develop the next generation of energy sector leaders.”

Dr. Eissa Al Bastaki added, “Collaborations with leading companies like ENOC provide our students with invaluable training and industry exposure, supporting our mission to educate future leaders and innovators. This partnership aligns with our core pillars of fostering innovation, a global perspective, and leadership.”

As part of the agreement, ENOC Group employees and their families will benefit from tuition discounts and scholarship options, while the University of Dubai gains access to resources such as training programs, research collaborations, and guest lectures. Through this knowledge exchange, students are expected to gain competitive industry insights, enhancing their employability and preparedness for careers in the energy sector.

Dr. Al Bastaki emphasized that the university’s role in energy, environment, sustainability, and innovation closely aligns with ENOC’s focus areas. He noted, “This partnership underscores the University of Dubai’s commitment to social responsibility and to nurturing a workforce that contributes to sustainable growth and societal development. At its heart, social responsibility reflects a love for the nation, dedication to work, and respect for others.”

Through this partnership, ENOC Group and the University of Dubai are setting a foundation for future innovation and competitiveness in the UAE’s energy sector.
