Empower sets up Blood Donation Campaign coinciding with the Martyrs Day and UAEs 50th National Day
Dubai, UAE, 05 December 2021: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the worlds largest district cooling services provider, has organized a blood donation campaign for the Dubai Blood Donation Center at Latifa Hospital, coinciding with the Martyrs Day and the 50th UAE National Day.
The new campaign was introduced by Empower embodies the huge societal, national and humanitarian responsibility that the company has shouldered for the past 13 years. It also exemplifies its deep belief in the significance of volunteering and of promoting and instilling a culture of blood donation, which helps in saving the lives of many.
The blood donation campaign saw a high turnout and more than 300 donors including Empower employees participated and donated blood. Donors affirmed their keenness to respond to their nations call and fulfill their duty by contributing to saving the lives of the injured.
Empower stated that the company has organized more than 30 blood donation campaigns among others over the past years to accentuate social responsibility and encourage charitable work culture by raising awareness of how important blood donation and meeting the needs of patients are.
Organizing blood donation drives consistently is a part of Empowers strategy to enhance its societal role. We have organized many campaigns in cooperation with many public and private institutions said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
