Empower Honored by Moro Hub for Carbon Emission Reduction Efforts
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the largest global provider of district cooling services, has received special recognition from Moro Hub, the data solutions arm of Digital DEWA, a subsidiary of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC). This accolade celebrates Empower’s success in reducing carbon emissions by 42,415.92 kilograms over three years through the use of Moro’s Green Data Centers, reinforcing Empower’s dedication to sustainability and climate action.
This recognition is Empower’s second certification from Moro, following an earlier Green Certification for its participation in Moro’s Green Data Center Program, where Empower hosts its IT services. The partnership showcases Empower’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices and highlights the impact businesses can make in advancing sustainability initiatives.
His Excellency Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, remarked, “This second certification reflects the UAE’s leadership’s commitment to green solutions and emphasizes the positive outcomes when organizations prioritize environmental responsibility.
