Emirates Health Services Wins Two Top Awards at Arabia CSR Awards 2024

Emirates Health Services (EHS) has been honored with first place in two prestigious categories, "Healthcare" and "Best New Business," at the Arabia CSR and Sustainability Awards 2024. These awards, presented during the 17th edition of the event, underscore EHS's leadership in sustainability and commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services across the Arab region.

H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of Financial Sector and Support Services at EHS, expressed pride in the achievement, noting it reflects EHS’s dedication to enhancing public health through innovative healthcare solutions. This approach aligns with the UAE’s "We the UAE" 2031 vision and the UAE Centennial 2071 strategy for sustainable development.

Dr. Al Zarooni commented, “We will continue collaborating with partners to achieve further milestones, reinforcing our role as a leader in sustainable healthcare within the UAE and the region.”

EHS’s success in these award categories highlights its innovative initiatives and significant contributions to community well-being and sustainability. The organization has implemented environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices in partnership with the Facilities and Administrative Services Department to advance sustainable healthcare. Furthermore, EHS's commitment to ISO standards has contributed to reducing environmental impacts, improving social outcomes, and promoting sustainability.

EHS’s commitment to public safety and employee well-being includes initiatives like the "For Your Well-Being" program and a focus on infection control and patient safety. In line with its sustainability objectives, EHS recently launched the "Your Heart is Green" initiative, supporting the national "Plant the Emirates" program, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to promote sustainable food security and agricultural development in the UAE.
