ECSSR to Host Second Mufakiru Al Emarat Forum on January 28
The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) has announced the second Mufakiru Al Emarat Forum, scheduled to take place on January 28, 2025, at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. This year’s theme, ‘Creative National Insights’, aims to bring together thought leaders, academics, and experts from various fields to address national priorities and provide recommendations aligned with the UAE’s strategic goals.
The Mufakiru Al Emarat Forum is a central initiative within the Mufakiru Al Emarat project, launched by the ECSSR in January 2022 under the endorsement of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Forum seeks to invest in Emirati intellectuals, utilizing their expertise to shape the nation’s future and drive comprehensive development. Additionally, it aims to bolster scientific research, elevate Emirati talent on national and global stages, and enhance the UAE’s soft power while contributing to sustainable growth.
This year’s theme underscores the UAE leadership’s focus on fostering innovation and creativity across all sectors. By transforming innovative ideas into actionable policies and programs, the Forum aims to address current and future challenges. The overarching goal is to ensure the UAE remains a leader among nations shaping the future rather than reacting to it.
