Ducab sets the focus on Fire-Resistant Cabling

Ducab, the UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products, hosted representatives from the Office of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Projects Establishment for an informative session and facilities tour at the company's Musaffah cable manufacturing plant.

Eng. Abdulla Ahmad Al Shehhi, Head of Engineering Projects Department, Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Projects Est., accompanied by Eng. Khalil Ibrahim Al Ustad, Head of Execution Section, and other members from the engineering department, attended the tour. Ducab presented its FlamBICC fire performance cables, and emphasised the importance of specifying the correct cable usage for critical circuit protection, along with an update on the current British Standards that Ducab's cables comply to.

During the facilities tour guests were invited to witness molten copper being formed into 8mm rods.

Mohammed Al Mutawa, Chief Commercial Officer, Ducab, said: We would like to thank the Office of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Projects Est. for their interest in Ducab and our products. Providing cabling of the highest quality and safety spec is our priority. Choosing the right cabling for the job, especially for housing projects, is critical to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Our FlamBICC fire performance cables are designed to improve safety, reduce fire damage, and to provide additional time for building occupants to escape in the event of a fire. We are very proud that Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Projects Est. has chosen to use our cables in future housing projects.

As a result of the visit, Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Projects Est. will add Ducab's FlamBICC cables to its procurements list for upcoming housing projects.
