Dubai Media Forms Strategic Partnership with NEP Group to Enhance Media Capabilities
In a significant development for the regional media industry, Dubai Media has entered into a partnership with NEP Group, a leading global provider of media services. This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the 22nd Arab Media Forum at the Dubai World Trade Center. The partnership aims to enhance Dubai Media's logistical and technical capabilities, supporting its mission to produce high-quality media content and expand its reach.
The MoU focuses on leveraging NEP Group's digital tools, technology, and human resources to bolster Dubai Media's external broadcast operations both within the UAE and internationally. This collaboration will enhance Dubai Media's production and operational capacities, ensuring high-quality event coverage. The agreement also provides Dubai Media with access to NEP's future center and global connectivity, further strengthening its media infrastructure.
Saleh Lootah, Deputy CEO of Technical Support at Dubai Media, highlighted the importance of this partnership: "Through its diverse TV and radio programs, Dubai Media seeks to develop the media content industry, one of the fastest-growing media sectors. We are committed to enhancing our capabilities, improving logistical capacities, and developing our human resources to produce high-quality media content that meets Dubai's and the UAE's major developmental aspirations."
Lootah emphasized that the partnership with NEP is a crucial step in Dubai Media's strategic plan to advance the media sector and position Dubai as a global content creation hub. "The MoU provides an opportunity to develop our TV and radio broadcasting operations and expand their global reach, reflecting Dubai Media's status as one of the largest and most prominent media institutions in the UAE and the region," he added.
