Dubai Government Workshop provides technical vehicle support services for Expo 2020-related activities

The Expo 2020 Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) after the latter was selected to provide technical vehicle support services for activities related to the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai. The MoU also covers opportunities for building and expanding relations between the two parties. The Workshop has already started to deliver fast vehicle services, collectively known as mobile workshop, at the Expo 2020 venue. The MOU was signed by H.E Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali, Executive Director, Expo 2020 Bureau, and Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, DGWs Deputy Executive Director, at the Expo 2020 Bureaus headquarters, in the presence of the Bureaus managers and employees.

H.E. Al-Ali highlighted the importance of cooperating with various government entities and private sector organizations to confirm the success of Expo 2020, the biggest event of its kind in the countrys history.

We confirm Expos important role as a global event with enormous impact on the entire UAE as it reflects the spirit of giving and loyalty to our country. DGW has significant contributions in delivering top-notch government services and enhancing customer experience, he said.

He said DGWs association with Expo 2020 Bureau is part of its continuing efforts to deliver the best services to the public and guests of Expo 2020. This is in line with the UAE Governments directives to give participants and attendees improved services and provide them with a pioneering and excellent experience.

Al Raeesi said: The agreement signing is part of our efforts to enhance our collaboration and interaction with various government, semi-government, and private sector entities in Dubai and the UAE. We are confident that this newest development will contribute to Expo 2020s success. The agreement also represents DGWs superior vehicle and transportation services, specially in the areas of repairs and maintenance. DGW is at the forefront of providing transport services to Dubai and its government entities.

He added: The UAEs successful bid on November 27, 2013 to host Expo 2020 Dubai is an significant turning point in the country's successful socio-economic progress. This world-class meeting will bring together the globes leading companies and corporations under one roof, allowing stakeholders across various industries to network, communicate, and build partnerships. At DGW, we aim to support the ongoing efforts of various parties to advance the countrys development process through active communication and efficient exchange of knowledge and experiences. Collaborative efforts ensure outstanding and successful hosting of this important international event in the UAE.

The MoU encourages partnership development, strong communication, and robust cooperation between the two entities in preparation for Expo 2020. Both parties agreed to coordinate in relevant areas, including tire replacement and repair covering vehicles to be used during the event. The DGW-approved fleet system will also track preventive maintenance services as it assigns a permanent mobile workshop to address related emergency needs.
