City Football Schools and Aldar Education Forge Groundbreaking Partnership to Enhance Student Wellbeing in Abu Dhabi

City Football Schools has announced a pioneering partnership with Aldar Education to integrate Manchester City-trained coaches into schools across Abu Dhabi. This initiative aims to elevate students' physical and mental health while fostering excellence in sports and overall wellbeing.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in youth development, as it introduces City Football Schools' renowned coaching methodology into Aldar Education institutions. The partnership will not only enhance football skills but also educate students on the importance of adopting healthy habits, including proper nutrition, hydration, quality sleep, and mental health awareness.

A Holistic Approach to Student Wellbeing

City Football Schools coaches will provide high-level training sessions based on Manchester City’s world-class football methodology, ensuring students develop their skills in a structured and engaging environment. Beyond the pitch, the program will emphasize a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, encouraging students to embrace an active lifestyle both physically and mentally.

The initiative will initially roll out in Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, Yas American Academy, and Al Muna Academy, with plans to extend across all Aldar schools in the future.

Simon Hewitt, Head of Football Operations MENA at City Football Schools, expressed enthusiasm for the project:
"For many years, City Football Schools has been dedicated to helping players improve their football skills and spreading the message of staying active and living a healthy lifestyle. We are very grateful and excited about this partnership with Aldar Education as it will ensure we reach even more young people, helping them navigate what can be a challenging journey into health and wellness. Our goal is to engage and educate as many students as possible – on and off the pitch – and help them live healthier, more active and happier lives.”

Empowering Students for a Healthier Future

Aldar Education has long championed student wellbeing as a core component of its educational philosophy. Kevin Double, Director of Education at Aldar Education, emphasized the significance of the initiative:
"We are delighted to partner with City Football Schools on this project. At Aldar Education, we believe that health and wellbeing, both physical and mental, is essential for our students and is the foundation upon which we operate. This partnership will provide students with direct access to world-class coaching and comprehensive lifestyle education, which will help them develop their football skills and build healthy habits around fitness, nutrition and wellbeing for life. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this initiative as we empower our students to lead active, healthy and balanced lives.”

A Legacy of Health and Fitness in Abu Dhabi

City Football Schools has a longstanding commitment to promoting active lifestyles among Abu Dhabi’s youth. Through the Healthy Lifestyle Programme, more than 60,000 students have engaged in initiatives designed to instill long-term wellness habits, ensuring a healthier future for young people in the region.

This strategic partnership between City Football Schools and Aldar Education represents a transformative step in youth development, integrating top-tier football coaching with a holistic approach to student health, ultimately shaping the next generation of well-rounded individuals in Abu Dhabi.
