Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that its UK-based air traffic interaction systems subsidiary, Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems, is expanding the ability of the ATC communication systems at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC).
Under the regards to the contract granted to Bayanat Engineering U.A.E., Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS) will receive Park Air Sapphire portfolio items including its newest Park Air T6 Radio at 5 radio websites located at each airport. The system will simultaneously support both legacy E1 and Voice over IP (VoIP) connectivity, this flexibility makes it possible for radio channels to be connected to a network of Park Air S4 IP Controllers while also linking to the airports' legacy voice switch.
