Bahris NCC Amal Transports First Chemical Shipment From Aramco Trading Company
Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, introduced the transport of the first chemical delivery from Aramco Trading Company (ATC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco that trades refined, liquid chemical and polymer products, by means of 'NCC Amal,' a 45,000 DWT Bahri chemical vessel which left Port of Rabigh heading to China.
The shipment, which consists of 25,000 statistics tonnes of paraxylene (PX) and 20,000 statistics tonnes of monoethylene glycol (MEG), notes the conclusion of Phase II of the Petro Rabigh Company (PRC) project, which was celebrated at a special ceremony in the presence of Abdullah Aldubaikhi, Chief Executive Officer of Bahri, Nasser D. Al-Mahasher, Chief Executive Officer of PRC, Ibrahim Q. Al-Buainain, Chief Executive Officer of ATC, and other representatives from the three companies.
'NCC Amal' will certainly deliver monoethylene glycol (MEG) in addition to the very first paraxylene (PX) cargo, which will certainly be sold during its turnaround to the world's largest PX customers via S-OIL, a leading company in the lubricant market, established in 1976 and 63.4% of its shares is possessed by Saudi Aramco.
