Azizi Developments Signs MoU with DLD and DET to Support UAE’s First-Time Home Buyer Program

In a significant move to enhance property ownership opportunities in the UAE, Azizi Developments has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The strategic partnership supports the newly launched First-Time Home Buyer Program, which aims to make homeownership more accessible for UAE residents.

The initiative is aligned with the UAE’s “Year of Community,” reinforcing the importance of social inclusion, shared responsibility, and economic empowerment. Under this collaboration, Azizi Developments will offer exclusive pricing and simplified direct sales processes to eligible buyers through a dedicated platform managed by DLD and DET.

In a unique move to increase affordability, Azizi will redirect traditional brokerage commission margins to reduce purchase costs for buyers. This initiative not only eases the financial burden on new homeowners but also encourages greater participation in Dubai's dynamic real estate market.

Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, stated:

“We are pleased to partner with Dubai’s leading government entities on this forward-thinking initiative that aligns with our mission to empower new buyers and contribute to Dubai’s sustainable economic and urban development. By improving accessibility and introducing tailored pricing structures, we are helping to transform more residents into homeowners while supporting the growth of the real estate sector.”

The First-Time Home Buyer Program supports the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, which aims to double the sector’s GDP contribution to AED 73 billion and raise homeownership rates to 33%. By converting renters into property owners, the program enhances long-term economic stability and reinforces investor confidence in the emirate.

The initiative officially launched on July 2, 2025, during an event at the Dubai Land Department headquarters. A joint promotional campaign is underway to drive awareness and engagement.

Interested buyers can visit the Azizi Developments Sales Gallery, located on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, to explore available options and benefit from the exclusive offerings.
