Azizi Developments Activates Post-Position Draw for 2025 Dubai World Cup
Azizi Developments, a leading private real estate developer in the UAE, has reinforced its commitment to the Dubai Racing Club by sponsoring the G1 Al Quoz Sprint at the 2025 Dubai World Cup. As a pillar sponsor, Azizi activated the randomized post-position draw at the IMAX Gallery, Meydan Grandstand, determining the starting stall numbers for each competing horse in the prestigious race.
The G1 Al Quoz Sprint, a 1200-meter turf race with a $1.5 million prize purse, is set to be the fourth race of the 2025 Dubai World Cup, scheduled for April 5 at the Meydan Racecourse.
Strategic Partnership in Global Racing
Commenting on the event, Mr. Ahmad Masoud, Deputy CEO of Azizi Developments, who officiated the draw, stated: “It’s a privilege to once again be part of this crucial moment in the Dubai World Cup. The post-position draw significantly influences race dynamics, particularly on a straight course, where even minor shifts in conditions can impact outcomes. Our ongoing collaboration with the Dubai Racing Club aligns with our vision to support platforms that bring together global communities and enhance Dubai’s reputation as a center of excellence. Sponsoring such iconic events reflects our long-term commitment to the UAE’s cultural and sporting heritage.”
History of the Al Quoz Sprint
The Al Quoz Sprint was introduced in 2007 as part of the Dubai International Racing Carnival and became an official fixture of the Dubai World Cup in 2010, coinciding with the opening of the Meydan Racecourse.
Azizi Developments invites visitors to its Sales Gallery on the 13th floor of the Conrad Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road for more information about its projects and initiatives.
