Ajman Free Zones eight services obtain five-star rating given by Department of Digital Ajman
The Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has received a five-star rating given by the Department of Digital Ajman under the first phase of its Star System for Governmental Digital Services Project. The high classification was granted after the free zones eight sub-services included in its main Licenses and Lease Contracts service met all of the star systems criteria.
The prominent achievement comes amid the Ajman Free Zones continuous efforts to leverage superior technological innovations, as well as develop and expand the scope of its digital services to conform to regulatory measures concerning trade, business and investment activities. Its efforts are in line with the directives of the wise leadership to accelerate the digital transformation of Ajman so that it can meet the necessities of the future.
H.E. Eng. Ali Abdulla bin Towaih AlSuwaidi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone, recognized the high rating to the unwavering support of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman, Ajman Free Zone, who directed the improvement of the free zones digital services to accomplish efficiency and bring happiness to customers.
H.E. added: We thank the Department of Digital Ajman for its confidence in us. We take abundant pride in the fact that eight of our services received a five-star rating from the Department, which replicates the superiority and efficiency of our e-services. The five-star rating will further encourage us to keep moving forward and accelerate the digital transformation of our operations. In addition, we will also upsurge the Ajman Free Zones contributions to the digital transformation journey of Ajman and the UAE, in line with the governments strategies and wise directives of our leadership.
Through the continuous improvement of our digital proficiencies and the development of our smart services and electronic platforms, we are improving the attractiveness and competitiveness of the business environment within the free zone, facilitating faster operational procedures and fast-tracking our licensing processes according to the highest standards of reliability and effectiveness. By doing all these initiatives, we can support the local business community to fast-track their expansion and growth and attract more global investments across sectors, H.E. added.
The five-star rating is the highest rating under the Department of Digital Ajmans Star System for Governmental Digital Services Project. The Ajman Digital Department provides government entities in Ajman with legislative toolsand regulatory meanstofacilitatetheirdigital transformation.
