Ajman Free Zone wins the Modama Award for The Most Committed Entity category
Ajman Free Zone is pleased to announce the winner of the most coveted Modema Awards 2019 in the "Most Committed Entity" category. The award was received by H.E. Fatma Salem, Acting Director General of Ajman Free Zone.
The Most Committed Entity category Type Award is presented in recognition of Ajman Free Zones innovative programs and outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability.
Established in 2018 by the Ajman Tourism Development Department, the Modema Awards seeks to honor hospitality organizations and those who are actively working towards a more sustainable and environmentally sound future.

Ajman Free Zone recently signed cooperation agreements with the Federal Electricity and Water Authority aimed at implementing specific projects that serve the community. Under the deal with Ajman Free Zone, electric car chargers for electric vehicles will be installed in several locations. This move reflects efforts to increase reliance on clean, renewable energy resources to maintain a sustainable environment.
In addition to the current efforts, Ajman Free Zone has launched several initiatives in collaboration with various governmental and private companies, that will highlights the importance of creating a sustainable tomorrow, Including the installation of solar powered lighting fixtures in the Chinese market in Ajman and other efforts in the pipeline that will focus on protecting the environment and improving sustainability.
