ADNEC Group has announced a strategic partnership with the Tawazun Council to organize the largest editions of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX) to date. Scheduled to take place from February 17 to 21, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the event will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

This collaboration aligns with the UAE’s vision of solidifying its position as a global hub for defense, security, and advanced technology. IDEX and NAVDEX serve as vital platforms for decision-makers, experts, and industry leaders to showcase cutting-edge innovations and discuss the future of the defense and security sectors.

IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 are set to feature groundbreaking initiatives, including:

• IDEX NextGen: A platform spotlighting global startups in the defense sector.
• IDEX and NAVDEX Dialogues: Dedicated sessions for policymakers, thought leaders, and experts to discuss advancements in defense technologies and explore opportunities for international collaboration.
• IDEX Think Tank: A gathering of international defense and security experts addressing critical challenges and developments in the industry.

The 2023 editions of IDEX and NAVDEX saw significant success, attracting over 132,507 participants and visitors, 41 international pavilions, and 1,353 exhibitors from 65 countries. The 2025 editions aim to surpass these milestones with greater global participation and enhanced programs.

Tawazun Council’s Strategic Role

As the UAE’s authority for overseeing defense procurement and acquisition, the Tawazun Council plays a pivotal role in advancing national industrial capabilities.
