Abu Khader Automotive supports local Jordan Art Scene by turning a dream of a Jordanian artist into reality
To support the local arts and culture community in Jordan, Abu Khader Automotive, the official BMW Group importer in Jordan, has announced that artist Alaa Baghdadi is the winner of "The Xperience" a one-of-a-kind art competition that encouraged local artists to unleash their creativity by interpreting the new BMW X4 Sports Activity Coupe in their own artistic way.
Winning a fully paid course in one of the most prestigious art schools in the world, Central Saint Martin's University of the Arts London, UK, Baghdadi benefitted from unrivalled learning, teaching and research while at the same time, gained a whole new perspective on what constitutes art.
The lively and energetic course, called 100 Drawing Projects, took Baghdadi on a journey though the art of drawing from traditional methods to contemporary experimental techniques to enable her to build a rich and diversified portfolio. Central Saint Martin's also provided her with a motivating environment, in which it encouraged freedom of expression, open discussions and an exchange of views between artists.
Speaking about her experience, Alaa Baghdadi said, "I am over the moon to have won "The Xperience". It was such a unique experience, and to then be given the opportunity to study at Central Saint Martins one of the most renowned art schools and learn at the hands of some the worlds most talented artists, I am hugely honoured. I would like to thank Abu Khader Automotive for this valuable opportunity, which is a dream come true. "
