The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has temporarily closed the footbridge connecting the multi-storey car park to Centrepoint Metro Station to facilitate construction of the Dubai Metro Blue Line. A secure temporary access route on Level G has been provided, with directional signs guiding passengers to the Red Line entrance. Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time and follow on-site instructions while construction continues. The 30-km Blue Line, featuring 14 stations, is scheduled to open on September 9, 2029, with a project cost of Dh20.5 billion.
