Which Dubai roads will have new speed limits from November 1, 2026?
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in coordination with Dubai Police, will introduce new speed limits on five major roads from November 1, with limits increasing on three roads and decreasing on two. Al Asayel Street will rise from 60 to 80 km/h, while Al Mustaqbal Street and Latifa bint Hamdan Street will increase from 60 to 70 km/h. Meanwhile, Al Rebat Street will drop from 100 to 90 km/h, and Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street will decrease from 80 to 70 km/h. The changes apply in both directions, and speed signs and cameras will be updated before implementation. The RTA said the adjustments follow engineering studies aimed at improving traffic flow and road safety.
