Emaar has opened the 2026 Burj Khalifa Projection Design Open Call, inviting artists from around the world to submit original audiovisual concepts for a chance to have their work showcased on the façade of the world's tallest building. Open from July 8 to August 18, 2026, the global competition requires participants to submit a three-minute MP4 audiovisual projection, a high-resolution MOV version, a separate audio file, and a 300-word concept note explaining their creative vision. All content must be completely original, comply with UAE cultural values, and must not use AI-generated visuals or music, as entries created with AI tools will be automatically disqualified. Unlike last year's UAE-only contest, the 2026 edition welcomes international artists, with the winning design earning the opportunity to be projected on the iconic Burj Khalifa façade.
