School leaders say AI integration is intentional, not experimental: younger students do not access generative tools independently, while older learners are taught ethical prompting, bias awareness and fact-checking before use. Platforms are internally vetted since there is no centralised approved list from regulators, and secure environments like Microsoft Copilot within school-managed systems are preferred. Educators emphasise that AI supports — but does not replace — human judgement, especially in areas like wellbeing and value-based learning. The goal, they say, is to build AI literacy so students can question, verify and think independently in a tech-driven world.
