The much-anticipated Vinyl Souk Mini Festival returns to 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central on 13 April, this time in collaboration with creative studio byjello, promising a unique celebration of sound, culture, and community. Running from 4pm until late, the festival will transform the hotel into a multi-sensory playground for music lovers, creatives, and families alike. With every corner of the venue activated, attendees can expect an electrifying line-up of alternative and regional music spanning genres and cultures. Highlights include: Souk Sessions at Nomad Day Bar for chill grooves, High-energy electronic sets at Monkey Bar, And vibrant live performances in Room #3. The festival will showcase renowned regional talents such as Bull Funk Zoo, Dirty Backseat, Refugee Sound System, Analog Room, Boogie Box, Shadi Megallaa, Gharam Electric, Walashi, Tala Mortada, and more surprise acts throughout the evening. In addition to the music, guests can engage in creative workshops, including a scratch session and a panel discussion on the cultural evolution of MENA sound systems. Cinema Akil joins the event with curated film screenings, offering the UAE premieres of Sound System Sanskriti (India) and Studio 17: The Lost Reggae Tapes (UK/Jamaica), in partnership with Doc’n Roll Film Festival. Complementing the cultural experience is a vibrant marketplace featuring vinyl pop-ups, art displays, and limited-edition collectibles, creating an atmosphere where creativity, rhythm, and storytelling meet.
