The Amy Winehouse Band

The Amy Winehouse Band will perform at Dubai Opera on October 8, bringing together musicians who worked closely with the late British singer and were part of her live and studio performances.

The concert will be led by Dale Davis, Amy Winehouse's longtime musical director, bassist and close friend. The lineup features original members of Winehouse's band, alongside a female vocalist who will perform her songs during the Dubai show.

Celebrating Amy Winehouse's music

The performance will revisit music from across Winehouse's career, including material associated with her acclaimed albums Frank and Back to Black, as well as Lioness: Hidden Treasures.

The set is expected to feature several of her best-known songs, including Valerie, Love Is a Losing Game and Tears Dry on Their Own.

The concert comes 20 years after the release of Back to Black, the album that became one of the defining works of Winehouse's career and included songs such as Rehab, You Know I'm No Good and its title track.

Original musicians return to the stage

Dale Davis, who worked closely with Winehouse throughout her career, will lead the band for the Dubai performance.

The musicians accompanying him were part of the ensemble that helped develop the sound associated with Winehouse's live performances and recordings. Their involvement gives the concert a direct connection to the singer's original musical work.

The performance at Dubai Opera will combine live renditions of Winehouse's songs with reflections of the musical style that defined her career.
