Steinway Series: Chopin, Aleksandra Swigut live
On 29 March, the Dubai Opera Studio’s Steinway Series will feature a special recital by Polish pianist Aleksandra Swigut, dedicated to the legendary composer Frédéric Chopin. Renowned for her mastery of both historical and modern instruments, Swigut will present a captivating programme that highlights Chopin’s most beloved compositions. From the poetic intensity of his ballades to the dramatic Sonata No.2, featuring the iconic Marche funèbre, each piece will transport audiences into the soulful world of Chopin. An accomplished performer and educator at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Swigut has received numerous accolades, including the Orchestra, Audience, and Steinway Prizewinner Concert prizes at the International Edvard Grieg Competition in Bergen. She also won first place at the 1st International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments in Warsaw. This extraordinary recital will be performed on the Dubai Opera Limited Edition piano, offering an unparalleled musical experience for classical music enthusiasts.
