Dubai Marina Mall, the popular lifestyle destination in Dubai Marina, is extending its support to the Breast Cancer Awareness month observed globally this October, to strengthen awareness as well as provide comfort to patients. Volunteers who take part in the special Sew Pink three-day workshop will be assigned to stitch support pillows and bags for breast cancer patients who are in recovery. All material and stitching equipment will be provided at the venue along with quality assurance staff from Craft Land, the organisers of the event. The items produced will be donated to hospitals within the UAE for patients in recovery. These will be included as part of the larger Care Pack to the patients, post-surgery.
