The Omega Dubai Desert Classic is a PGA European Tour sanctioned event featuring a $2.5 million USD prize pool. Held at the same time and place every year, the Omega Dubai Desert Classic attracts some of the biggest names in golf. In 2014 the event celebrated its 25th anniversary with many past winners returning to play in the tournament with the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy taking on the eventual winner Stephen Gallacher
