The HIPA Awards' fourth season introduces a new theme "Life in Color" to its contestants and the public. The four categories in this year's theme in which contestants will be judged are: Life in Color, pictures of color and the world it colors; General: Choose your personal best photograph, the one that means more to you than others can imagine; Faces (Black and White): As the name suggests, portraits in B&W are considered in this category and finally; Night Photography: Night time photography at its finest. There are a number of other categories as well such as a Photography Appreciation Award and a Photographic Research/Report Award. Cash prizes await the winners in each category.
