Emirates Literature Foundation & Dubai Summer Surprises: Stories Alive
The Emirates Literature Foundation is joining forces with Dubai Summer Surprises for a weekend filled with storytelling, poetry, dance, and music, showcasing the best of homegrown talents from the UAE. From 30-31 August, "Stories Alive" will take place at City Centre Mirdif, offering evening sessions with acclaimed children’s author Kathy Urban and storyteller Lamya Tawfik. Families can immerse themselves in captivating stories and live performances in both English and Arabic, recognizing the powerful impact literature has on children's lives. As the sun sets, the excitement continues with musical performances by Ammar Ashkar, who brings a rich blend of traditional and contemporary Syrian, Lebanese, Emirati, and Egyptian music to the stage. The lineup also features performances by the Dubai Youth Choir, Emirati soul singer Arqam AlAbri, and the Dubai-based music group One Soul.
