The Dubai Water Canal Dragon Boat Festival brings together university, corporate and school groups to race to the finish line along the newly-opened Dubai Water Canal. A thrilling, high-action sport, dragon boat racing originated in China and has recently gained popularity worldwide. Teams of up to 20 paddlers row to victory in slim vessels decorated with dragon heads and tails. This event will showcase Dubais best dragon boat racing teams, and is one of the first events to take place on the canal. Free Entry Registration for participants: AED2,500 for school/university teams and AED10,000 for corporate/social teams
