Dubai Desert Triathlon 2015- Horse riding, cycling and running. The third edition of this epic race will take place this March 2015.
Presented by the Dubai Sports Council, the inaugural Dubai Desert Triathlon will showcase a unique combination of two of the triathlon disciplines, running and cycling, in unison with the traditional sport of endurance horse riding. The event will kick off at 6 am with a cycle ride of 25 km followed by a 5 km trail run and then an endurance horse ride of a 25km loop through the spectacular desert. All starting and finishing in the DIEC (Dubai International Endurance City). Entry is open to anyone interested in participating in any or all of the three disciplines. Men and women( 18+) and juniors (16-18yrs), who would like to compete in a team but do not have their own are encouraged to enter in their discipline or disciplines of choice (cycling, running or horse riding) and will be linked with other entrants to form a team of similar ability. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest team and for the fastest triathlete who competes in all three disciplines. Entries are limited based on the number of licensed horses available
