Discover the dynamic connection between architecture, heritage, and artistic expression at the Burj Rashid Exhibition, a compelling initiative by Dubai Culture celebrating the 45th anniversary of one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Held at Al Safa Art and Design Library until 2 May, this event launches the first edition of the Dubai Series, a new platform dedicated to deepening Dubai’s creative and cultural scene.
Originally completed in 1979, Burj Rashid was Dubai’s first skyscraper and a powerful symbol of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum’s visionary leadership. The exhibition showcases more than 30 original artworks by UAE-based artists, each presenting a personal interpretation of the landmark’s architectural and cultural legacy. Through a variety of media and artistic expressions, the showcase invites visitors to explore new meanings behind the 39-story, 184-metre tower that once reshaped the city's skyline.
The Burj Rashid Exhibition is open every Monday from 8 am to 8 pm, offering a meaningful cultural experience for art lovers, historians, and anyone inspired by Dubai’s rich urban journey.
