The menu starts with the welcome drink Sweetheart, wherein fresh strawberries and crushed ice are blended with melon puree; the red in the drink like the blush on her cheeks. After strawberry has done its part, comes the Hearty Chicken Soup. The aromatic soup is a Valentines Day special prepared with special chicken broth and a spark of romance to light up the mood. The salad named Romance-in-a-Bowl is literally the same. The aesthetic blend of healthy vegetables added with the many berries and dry-nuts is served all drenched in a dressing of ranch.
The Starters arrive one after one, ready to tickle your senses. Sparks of Passion is a starter you wouldnt want to miss, after all, of what good is food or love, without true passion? The well-marinated pan-grilled beef satay is served with crusted pistachio powder. Jack Pink Skewer is a skewed variety of tender chicken with cashew nuts and beetroot puree. To raise your heartbeats comes Heart Beats a crispy chicken fried classic falafel served with chunky cucumber and salsa.
The crust is so crunchy that it cracks audibly as you reach it with the fork. It is surely going to be your love at first bite with its crunchy-crispy combo! Before you get carried over in the romantic chit-chat and the delightful food, enters the Main Course. Sea Couples does magic in your mouth, especially if you love seafood. The Kerala-style stew of Sea-bass fish with whole shallots and drumsticks is truly a succulent treat.
Elevating the mood, Melody of Veg brings the best of the greens in a palatable combination of baby spinach with cottage cheese, mushroom and cherry tomato. As you sit back and relax after the hearty meal, before you thank Calicut Notebook for an unforgettable Valentines Day, you have the delectable desserts coming! Unite yourself in the divinity of true love as you delve into the Chefs special raspberry pudding, aptly named Divine Love.
