Neurovia AI showcases NeuroStream platform for scalable government AI infrastructure in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi-based Neurovia AI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Robo.ai Inc. (Nasdaq: AIIO), has highlighted its visual data optimisation platform, NeuroStream™, as a potential enabler of scalable, secure and resource-efficient artificial intelligence infrastructure at the 3rd Government AI Summit 2026.
The company participated as the summit’s Official Government AI Partner at the event, held in Abu Dhabi on November 3. Its participation focused on sovereign AI, national data infrastructure and the challenges of moving from AI adoption to large-scale operational deployment across government and enterprise environments.
As computer vision and intelligent automation become more widely used in critical operations, organisations face growing volumes of visual data. Managing this data can place increasing demands on storage, network bandwidth, computing capacity and energy resources.
Neurovia AI discusses AI-ready infrastructure
Mansoor Ali Khan, Chief Technology Officer of Neurovia AI, delivered a presentation titled “Efficient Visual Data Infrastructure for Government AI: Reducing Storage, Bandwidth, Compute and Energy Without Compromising Visual Quality”.
The session examined how intelligent visual data optimisation could help reduce infrastructure bottlenecks, improve processing efficiency and support data-intensive applications.
Khan also joined an executive panel titled “National Data Infrastructure: Building an AI-Ready Government”. Discussions covered interoperability, secure AI architectures, data sovereignty, cloud computing and edge AI in the development of connected public services.
NeuroStream platform targets visual data efficiency
NeuroStream™ is an intelligent visual data optimisation platform designed to reduce the volume of data transmitted, processed and stored while preserving information needed by downstream applications.
The platform is designed to optimise data closer to its source, helping organisations make more efficient use of existing infrastructure and address constraints associated with large-scale AI deployment.
In a technical demonstration at ISNR 2026, the company reported that NeuroStream™ reduced a 12.15GB 4K video file running at 60 frames per second to 421MB. This represented a 96.37 per cent reduction in file size while maintaining visually lossless quality in that demonstration.
According to the company, the technology could help reduce storage and transmission requirements and improve infrastructure utilisation. The actual benefits, however, will depend on deployment conditions and independent validation for individual use cases.
Focus on practical AI applications
Neurovia AI said its technology strategy is centred on connecting technical performance with operational requirements across government, smart infrastructure and enterprise environments.
Its approach emphasises use-case-driven development, technical validation and integration with existing technology systems. The company is also evaluating potential operational efficiencies in areas such as computer vision, Physical AI, smart cities and autonomous systems.
Ahmed Alhashmi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Neurovia AI, said scaling AI requires infrastructure capable of managing growing data volumes securely, efficiently and economically, rather than relying solely on more powerful models.
He added that the company views data optimisation as a key enabler of large-scale AI adoption, with NeuroStream™ intended to address the challenge of expanding intelligent applications without a corresponding increase in infrastructure costs and resource requirements.
Khan said optimising visual data closer to its source could reduce unnecessary data movement and pressure on storage, networks and computing systems while retaining information needed for AI applications.
He added that interoperability, security and operational control are particularly important for government and critical infrastructure environments.
Part of Robo.ai's wider infrastructure strategy
As a subsidiary of Robo.ai Inc., Neurovia AI contributes AI software and visual data processing capabilities to the group's broader intelligent infrastructure ecosystem.
Its work on data optimisation and machine perception infrastructure aligns with growing requirements for efficient data management across connected environments, intelligent systems and Physical AI applications.
The company said its participation in the summit reflects its engagement with government and industry stakeholders and its focus on developing technologies for practical commercial deployment.
