Get your waters, the summers here

With summer comes the worries of keeping oneself hydrated. Although drinking large amounts of water is necessary at all times, summer demands a little more effort with the H2O from our part. Summer in the UAE is all about the scorching heat that drains us of every drop of water left in our body. This eventually makes us tired and exhausted. Hence the extra concern for drinking water during summers.

Are you drinking enough?

The exact amounts of water that a person must take varies depending on their weight and body type. However, an optimum range is 2 to 4 litres of water, if you are an adult.

Is water boring you?

If you think you are tired of the plain fluid, then get creative with it. Take in different juices, or other drinks like flavoured water or a good hot green tea, which is also good for your health. You could also fetch some juicy fruits that you can have on the go. You can further opt for food items that have more fluid content like a healthy soup.

Forgetting to drink water?

All held in a maze of work, most of us often forget to hear our body’s clamour for more fluid. To fight this, set a timer or get an app that frequently reminds you like a mother.

Where is water?

Do not complain of the unavailability of water for your fluid shortcomings. Carry a bottle of water with you wherever you go. The weight of which will constantly remind you that you should drink up the water soon.
