GDRFA Dubai Launches Smart Treasure Hunt at Dubai Hills Mall to Promote Services Through Playful Engagement

Interactive event merges entertainment with awareness as part of GDRFA’s “Customer First” initiative

In a creative approach to community engagement, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has announced the launch of the interactive campaign “For You, We Are Here – The Smart Treasure Hunt,” set to run from June 16 to 20, 2025, at Dubai Hills Mall. The activation will be open daily from 10am to 10pm.

The event, designed to blend education and entertainment, will showcase GDRFA’s innovative smart services to the public. These include the Golden Residency, entry permits, identity and nationality services, the Amer Assistant platform, and sentiment analysis tools. The initiative is rooted in GDRFA’s “Customer First” philosophy, simulating an engaging journey through the authority’s digital services.

A major highlight of the event is a dedicated children’s zone, featuring mascots Salem and Salama, who will deliver important messages in a fun and approachable manner for young visitors.

The platform also features leading innovations such as the Salama Al Platform, AlSaada Happiness Card, and the 04 platform.

Speaking on the campaign, Brigadier Abdul Samad Hussain Suleiman Al Baloushi emphasized GDRFA’s commitment to proactive community outreach. “This campaign represents our continuous field presence and dedication to helping residents and visitors understand and access our services easily, in alignment with Dubai’s vision for smart and integrated governance,” he said.

The interactive treasure hunt is part of GDRFA’s broader strategy to make government services more accessible and engaging, reinforcing the emirate’s status as a global model of digital innovation in public service.
